Hush Merino Using the finest silkiest merino, keep baby warm but not bulky. Naturally grown merino helps reduce eczema and other skin allergies. Super soft Hush Merino can be worn straight onto the skin and is not at all itchy.
Merino is a miracle product for babies, and is now widely used. The Hush range is made from a superfine knit. The point of difference is the traditional tailoring, ambient, soft warm colours and unique design details including the comfort and style of flat lock seams, sustainable Corozo-nut buttons and branded herringbone ties.
A simple print subtly hints at the ranges philosophy. Printed with soft cream writing "Nurtured Baby = Nurtured World".
This range compliments the luxury fully-fashioned merino and is perfect for everyday wear and very affordable. The construction is 'cut & sew' unlike the Pure merino range, which is fully-fashioned.
Merino
Only the very finest merino wool in the world from New Zealand or Australia is used in the Hush Merino range. No harmful finishes or dyes in the manufacture od Hush Merino, and no formaldehyde.

 Pilling in wool garments
Pilling is a natural process that comes hand in hand with wearing a luxurious wool garment. Pilling is the accumulation of tiny balls caused by the friction of wearing a new merino garment. It is recommended to de-pill the garment when required with a de-pilling comb then wash as instructed. After a few washes you should find that the pilling disappears. Frequent washing will help prevent further pilling.
Cut and sew construction
Most garments are made this way in both woven and knit fabrics. Garment pieces are cut flat from several layers of fabric and then sewn together. It is a quick, efficient way of constructing high-quality knit garments, and is always used to construct beautiful tailored woven garments. The diffusion Hush Merino range is constructed by this method.
Care Instructions
These garments are 100% merino and are quality controlled to the highest standard. We recommend you take great care of your garment and follow these instructions.
Gentle machine wash at 40 degrees on a wool cycle or hand wash using a wool detergent. Dry flat in the shade or air in the tumble dryer (no heat). You may iron using a low heat. The Hush Merino range is less likely to pill as it has finer knit than other fully fashioned merino.
Do not use fabric conditioners, stain removers or detergents with enzymes. Remember to use detergents that are better for the environment and do not contain harmful chemicals. They are going against your baby's skin and into our waterways.

Regular-Fit outerwear & underwear – a mix of slim-fit base garments and easy-fit styles, intended for layering up with our other ranges.
Special newborn sizing:
NB 3kg 6.5lbs (NB*)
For premature or small newborns, perfect for straight out of the hospital or wanting something extra special for the important first few weeks.
NB 4.5kg 10lbs (0-3m) (NB**)
This is the larger newborn size and will take the child from newborn to 3 months.
