General Information - International Orders

Orders are shipped Monday to Friday

Orders are shipped via International Airmail, International Courier and International Express (for orders outside of New Zealand).

In-Stock orders are processed for Shipping withing 1-2 business days.

Tracking is only available on International Courier and International Express orders (for orders outside of New Zealand) 



Rates - International Orders

International Orders shipping costs are calculated on the weight of your order.

 

For customers who wish to know the shipping charges in advance of processing their entire order we have included a shipping estimate button for your convenience. Simply add the products you are interested in purchasing to your shopping cart, once in the shopping cart you will see a shipping estimate button, simply click on estimate you will then need to select your country destination and then click the submit button. You will then be given shipping rates for delivery by International Airmail, International Courier and International Express. You can amend your shopping cart items as many times as you like but once an amendment has been made you will need to follow the shipping estimate procedure again to get the correct shipping costs.

 

Delivery Times - International Orders

We offer three shipping methods for international orders, International Airmail, International Courier and International Express. The shipping times displayed below are applicable once your order has been despatched from our warehouse in New Zealand, you will receive an e-mail from us confirming this.

Please note that no allowances have been made in the above delivery schedule for orders that may be held up in customs. In the unlikely event that this might happen please allow an extra few days onto the destination schedule. Orders delayed in customs is not something we are able to control, but from our experience it is a very rare occurrence. In order to avoid parcels being delayed in customs we do not send out parcels weighing more than 2kg each. If an order weighs more than 2kg we will seperate it out into different parcels, this procedure does not affect the shipping costs to our customers and also reduces the chances of the parcels being delayed in customs. Customs duties and taxes were levied are payable by the receiver.


International airmail is the most commonly used shipping method with our customers. All orders shipped by International airmail are automatically insured by us at no extra cost to our customers. We can also ship to Post Office Boxes with our International airmail service.  This service is not tracked.

 

International Courier for time sensitive orders without the expense of international express.  This service does allow delivery to PO Boxes. This service is tracked.


International express is available for customers who require their order extra quickly. However please note that the International express service does NOT allow delivery to Post Office Boxes. As with orders sent via International airmail orders are automatically insured by us at no extra cost to our customers. Also please note that we are unable to ship any of our food items through the International express service. This service is tracked.

 

Customs, Duties and Fees

Customs fees (taxes, duties, processing fees, brokerages fees, etc.) may be imposed by your local government on shipments from outside your country.

 

These charges are seperate from Silverfernz.com's charges and are beyond our control or ability to predict.

 

We are not able to mark orders as "gifts".

 

These charges (if any) are made payable to your government.  You are responsible for paying any taxes, duties and/or customs fees charged by your government.

 

We do not issue any refunds for customs fees, shipping, or the cost of your order should you refuse to pay the customs fees.

 

Silverfernz.com has no way of estimating customs fees, taxes, duties, etc. Please contact your local customs office or Post Office for more information.

 

New Zealand Delivery

Orders are shipped Monday to Friday

 

Orders are shipped via Post Haste or Courier Post couriers. (Courier Post is not available for delivery on large parcels unless organised with us in advance of an order being processed.)  We are quite happy to organise any order to be shipped via Courier Post if the customer requires the goods the next day, however it would be best to contact us either by e-mail or by telephone @ 03 539 0090 so we can work out the costs for you in advance. 

 

In-Stock orders are processed for Shipping withing 1-2 business days.

 

GST is applicable on all orders delivered within New Zealand and will be added to your order during the checkout procedure.

 

We do not charge extra for Rural Delivery.

 

Free New Zealand Delivery

We offer customers free delivery for orders over $75 (inc gst) to an address in New Zealand. This discount will happen automatically in your checkout.

 

Delivery Time (New Zealand only):

In-stock orders normally ship within 1-2 business days.

Delivery to Non Rurual Addresses: 1-3 days (depending on service used).

Delivery to Rurual Addresses: 3-4 days

 

Tracking (New Zealand only):

All orders shipped within New Zealand are tracked.  Once your order has been shipped your tracking number and details of how to track your order will be emailed to you.

 

Shipping FAQ

Can I combine multiple orders?

Yes you can combine multiple orders, however once an order as been packed for shipping it con no longer be combined with any other order.  Please email or phone us for queries on your orders.

Can I Ship to multiple locations/addresses?

Unfortunately, we cannot split up an order and ship to multiple addresses. If you wish to send items to different addresses,  you will need to place a separate order for each shipping address.

 

Can I change the address of my order?

Yes, up until your order has been packed for shipping.  Please email or phone us for queries on your orders.

 

Christmas Delivery Times

Silverfernz.com will make every effort to get your gifts to you in time for Christmas however delivery cannot be guaranteed after the dates below.
