Paua Design Print by Sara Collins
This matted print is of titled "Paua" by Sara Collins. Beautifully printed on card with stiff board backing and black mount.
The print measures 300mm (11.8 inches) by 200mm (7.87 inches).
Sara Collins was born in Blenheim, studied Design and Painting in the Manawatu, and now lives in Australia. New Zealand will always be home for Sara and that is where she drew her inspiration for the paua painting. She used numerous glazes of rich oil colours of greens, blues and purples to try and satisfy her obession with replicating the changes of colour and light in the paua shell.
