Paua Shell Tote Bag
This tote bag is 430mm (17 inches) wide by 360mm (14 inches) high and 120mm (4.7 inches) wide, made of good polyesther canvas, lined, with internal and external pockets and a sturdy zip. Lisa Wilkins-Pirika's "Paua Shell" is reproduced on one side of the bag.
Lisa Wilkins-Pirika lives in Birdlings Flat, Akaroa Penninsula, with her father who is an elder and practices traditional eel harvesting methods on Lake Wairewa. Lisa is qualified in Graphic Design, Computer Graphics and Maori Tourism. Her passion is spread between contemporary Maori and Arabic culture art. Painting paua is a favorite of hers as it allows her to use rich colours such as metallic purples, blues and greens.
