When you ask a kiwi to recall some of thier fondest memories of childhood, some, if not all, of them will say summers at the bach. It may be their friends, parents or grandparents bach, but whomever owns it, the bach is a symbol of freedom, summer, escape and relation. Everyday rules don't exist in the bach, bedtimes are later. The fond memories of the clutter in the bach, the flowery curtins to match the sofa, the old photos, the sun faded memories of the past, the mismatched cutlery and plates and cups from different eras and times all seem to converge in this magical summer wonderland.
For those not from New Zealand, the bach, is pronounced BATCH and was originally a small, often modest holiday home, originally called a bachelor pad and then shortened to bach.
This wonderful ceramic bach will easily sit of your shelf or hang on the wall, it is a 3D style. It has been hand painted an attractive blue with a rusty red roof, so each piece will be unique.

The bach measures 105mm (4 1/4 inches) wide and 70mm (2 3/4 inches) tall and 65mm (2 1/2 inches) deep.
