Rimu Wall Geckos Set of 3

A wonderful set of three wall geckos. Each gecko is made from rimu and feature cut-out designs and paua eyes. The geckos are designed to be hung on the wall. The large gecko measures 270mm long x 120mm wide (10.6 x 4.8 inches), the middle gecko measures 200mm long x 90mm wide (7.8 x 3.5 inches) and the smallest gecko measures 130mm long by 60mm wide (5.1 x 2.4 inches).
Rimu
Rimu was once the most important timber grown in New Zealand and the pacific islands, due to it's strength and resistance to rot it was widely used in the construction industry. Nowadays cheaper materials are used and Rimu is now used predominately in finishing, furniture and art works because of it's natural beauty and wonderful grain.
